Salem Ministries was founded by Ram Raj Bhalla in 2002. Ram Raj Bhalla is Swiss and has Indian roots. Salem Ministries want to prevent hardship and bring relief for people in distress - either with direct help in person or financial and infrastructural support.  

Salem Ministries support and engage in diverse projects like orphanages, hospitals, slum work, kindergartens, schools, vocational training and work support for socially disadvantaged and underprivileged people. 

Salem Ministries are based on Christian values of social justice. The association is politically independent and committed to help people from all backgrounds in all places.

The association Salem Ministries is no church and has no religious affiliations. 

Salem Ministries cooperate with like-minded agencies.
